Visually cute but terribly designed

The strap with velcro is WAY too short. My daughter has small, narrow feet and I can barely velcro the shoes comfortably because of how short the strap is. I’m not sure how anyone’s child could wear these. I don’t know if this is a defect in just the pair I received or not, but these are very poorly designed. I love the other Mary Jane’s I purchased, just not these specific ones.
