Why are these so heavy?!

Received these as a gift with being pregnant and the thought was these would be comfortable. First time I tried them on I was concerned with the straps potential for blistering my inner foot but was able to adjust the velcro. However, these are EXTREMELY heavy, like at least half a pound. This makes it extra work to walk around in. There is no arch support either. I wore them for a backyard party for a few hours and thankfully no blisters but my inner foot was sore from probably compensating on the lack of arch and weight of the shoe.

Totally uncomfortable for the top of your foot

it hurts the top of your foot so you can only wear them with thick socks.

I hope Keds rethinks these a bit!

I REALLY wanted to love these!! But unfortunately, they just don’t work for me. They do seem a bit on the bulky side, but that didn’t really bother me much, as I think it’s no more bulky than a Birkenstock slide and I do love the casual look of these. My issue with them is the material. I think the outer material is fine, but I wish the inner material was something different because these made my feet HOT and that’s very unusual for me when wearing sandals. It was incredibly uncomfortable and defeats the point of these shoes, which is a shame because I’d otherwise consider this a comfortable shoe, but only if you’re wearing them for a short time, indoors, in air conditioning maybe, but not outside in any kind of heat for any amount of time. I only wore mine once but I honestly wish I could return them and hope that Keds rethinks the design/material of this sandal. I would definitely try a Keds sandal again if they do because I otherwise love Keds!
