Hurts my feet

I wish I could still return these. Probably the most uncomfortable shoes I've worn in the past 10 years. Hurts my ankles, heels, and toes. Canvas Keds are good but the leather ones are trash.

In my size, the styles always limited just because I have big feet does not mean I should be limited to styles. I’m having a hard time buying what I want instead of getting what I have to settle for. I think places should make enough in the large sizes so we also have a choice and not having to settle for whatever is there it’s unfair.

Good shoes but...

Been wearing Keds all my life and wear a womens size 11 normally. Id for sure say think about going a half size up on the GN's. Really nice shoes othereise

Great shoe!

Just a couple of things. I like this shoe and I think it should stick around. It is similar to other brands style that are unisex. However, the sizing is a about a half size too small and little on the narrow side to be unisex. Also this does not look much different than the platform version but doesn't deserve to be called a champion version. It looks nothing like the original champion. Why not just extend the sizing on the platform version and call it unisex. That would make it look more like the original champion. Also I think they are missing a whole market by not offering extending sizes on all their shoes. There are a lot of people I'm sure would buy other styles but they don't make them in sizes beyond 11 and in wide width. Therefore they are missing a whole market of people with larger feet.

About 70% there

Frankly, I would have preferred that they took the women's version, added an extra eyelet and adjusted the sizes for men. i always liked the classic style/cut of keds champions: as a kid I wore cons for sports (except tennis) and keds for the look: they go with anything. Cons are, . . . not. This new "gender neutral" thing is simply a knockoff of top siders. Anyway, it is start.

Nice Shoes - Odd Marketing

I have been a Keds fan for a long time. Whenever Keds offers shoes for men, I'm quick to add a pair or two to my collection. I was very surprised to see Keds, which had dropped its men's styles (again) in 2016 offer this version of the classic 'Champion' sneaker in a 'Gender-Neutral' version. Will this be a 'thing', or will it be another in a long line of missteps by this brand? Time will tell. But as far as the shoe itself is concerned: THE ROSES: Astonishing value! Where else can you get a quality made LEATHER sneaker for $65? These are very nicely made kicks. The styling is clean and understated, proving that less is definitely more. They are also reasonably comfortable. Unlike many major brand sneakers these days, the insole is not removeable, but it doesn't appear to be too heavily glued in, so if you want to swap them out for aftermarket orthotic insoles, I think you can readily do so. THE THORNS: The sizing (at least for men) is still a bit odd. Despite it's billing as a 'unisex' shoe with a broader sole and toe, it's still a titch on the narrow side. If you're a guy, I think you'll definitely need the wide (a big 'Thank You' to Keds for offering a ample range of sizes and widths to satisfy men, women, and yes, non-binary. NEITHER ROSE NOR THORN: I have to say it: Keds choices in how they're marketing this shoe are, frankly, extremely odd and may well doom it to being an expensive failure for the company. Why on earth are they promoting these as 'Gender-Neutral' shoes, given how polarizing our current sociopolitical climate is? From the GN label to the advertising campaign, featuring three 'creatives', complete with their names and preferred pronouns, Keds is heavily pushing this shoe as footwear for the Progressive, 'woke' crowd. Why make such a big deal about this? Why not just call them 'unisex'? Unisex styling and sizing has worked quite nicely for Vans and Converse for years; why choose a promotional scheme that may only appeal to a hopelessly narrow niche market, while sending the rest of your potential market running in the opposite direction? Remember what happened to Bud Light. THE VERDICT: Keds is to be applauded for offering a unisex version of its clean, minimalist sneakers. Not everyone wants clunky and garish kicks. Still, for those who want the classic 'deck sneaker' look without the SJW baggage, they might instead pick up a pair of Vans instead. This is a great sneaker for women and men (who are sufficiently comfortable in their own skin that they don't need their shoes to validate their sense of masculinity), and anyone else who appreciates an understated, elegant pair of kicks. I wish Keds the best of luck with this and hope they will offer more unisex styles. I can't speak for other guys, but I'll buy them.

Great show with small tweak

This and the canvas style are great and I appreciate that you make them in larger sizes!!! Please consider producing the Champion in larger sizes. My only complaint is that the heel of this shoe style is higher than the champions and really cuts into the back of your heel. Making a small cut as shown in the photo improved the fit and comfort by 1000%. My other question is why doesn’t this and the canvas style show up on the KEDS web site? It requires a Google search to find them and link into the website to purchase them.
